@DrEliDavid This is the point. AI embodies and exacerbates human bias by being better and faster than humans at making biased decisions. Human bias can not be fixed, it is part of the limits of being human. But humans can learn to mitigate the harms of bias, with reasoning.
@DrEliDavid The fallacy that is addressed is the common notion that AI systems are 'neutral' and hence more trustworthy.

@banjira My gut reaction: There are assumptions being made in that dialog window. Rather than make an assumption it can make available options without a value statement. It also indicates a usability problem: why would the user not be aware that they can mute?
