@thickpaws @gotosocial Thanks. XMPP was mentioned in the post. Considering adding it as its own tree in the next iteration. I’ve since added a mention of GoToSocial in the post as well.

@DidiQ you’re welcome, thank you for the feedback
@amunizp OStatus is in the diagram. Not sure if it’s worth mentioning identi.ca. Will have a think about that...
@aleks Yes, thanks for the reminder. I’ve added it to the blog post now under "Applications not in the diagram”.
@aswath Good one, yes, it would potentially fit with the Fediverse concept as its own tree. I’ll make a mention of it on the blog post.
@Beantin and I have wanted to interview Tim Berners-Lee about Solid for years @uxpodcast
@Yuvalne Thank you. 🙏
The instance you are on is managed by @wild1145, so that is the person you will want to get in touch with. :)
They should see this now.
I agree, but for more people than one might imagine is my reasoning.
A group of 5-10 friends and/or family members can for example together pay $8/month for managed hosting. No technical skills needed. Still not for everyone but a viable route for some.
On the other hand, the Twitter instance doesn't let us carry over anything to another platform and we were okay with that ;)
I was just made aware that @mastohost is pausing signups as many are going this route...
@chartier There is a list of providers here:
@cfiesler The simple answer has to be: run your own instance.
Or at least run it with a small number of friends.
Thank you. It’s always nice if the sources mentioned in the image aren’t cropped out from the image itself.
Thank you Steve. That is a good point. I was disappointed by the limit on characters in ALT-texts on my Ghost blog, but I can absolutely add it inside the post somehow.
I’ve worked with digital accessibility since the early 2000s. Making my content accessible is important to me, so thank you for reaching out.
I will let you know as soon as I’ve added it.
Hi again Steve,
I’ve now added the full text of the image description at the bottom of the post.
It’s also linked in the image tagline.
I see people in a hurry. Impatient.
I see an opportunity for healing. For change.
In coaching and teaching I often encourage people to take a step back and shift perspective. What can this be if I don’t bring my preconceptions? What then is my path to wellbeing?
Maybe there is space to not be in a hurry. And avoid getting lost.
That’s me signing off and taking a step back for a couple of days.
Wishing you a restorative weekend. 💚

Trevlig fredag!
@helenaroth When I was 19 I wrote a novel (many moons ago). I put it up on Amazon some years ago. But I'm just in the process of putting it up on my site for free instead.
And then there's my e-book AceAwe and my handbook Digital Compassion / Digital omtanke.
AceAwe is free:

@merikan I can join the waitlist and see if/when it becomes available 😉
@joegrimer Thank you Joseph!
