One of the neat effects of marketing yourself broadly online is that you get asked to do interviews - and these are always fun to revisit. Mostly though, these focus on the single story person, in my case that is usually around UX and usability for the web.
Recently I was asked to do a 20 question interview that focused more on me as a person rather than as a professional. It was a great experience and made me think a lot about where I'm coming from as I approach life. Some of you will have noticed the changes going on in my life just over the past few years... for example exercising, becoming a coach and dropping meat from my diet. Many of these life decisions are of course intertwined and I believe Scott really managed to ask questions that helped me articulate my inner voice, and perhaps also how some of these changes came to be.

I love tinkering with the novel. Always when i re-read parts of it, it's like stepping into a time machine and reliving the feelings I had when I wrote it. The healing power of writing is ineffable and I am deeply thankful it is something I spent so much time doing as a teenager.
Vanity. It makes people do some unconstructive sh*t.

SÄ vitt jag förstÄr startar Fridhemsskolan upp sin verksamhet redan nu till hösten 2016 (alltsÄ INTE 2017). "Fridhemsskolan kommer att starta höstterminen 2016" stÄr det pÄ Solnas hemsida. Vilka klasser det Àr som startar framgÄr inte, men förklaringen torde vara enkel: elevunderlaget krÀver det.
Alla vi som höstlovet 2013 fick reda pĂ„ att skolan skulle stĂ€nga till Ă„rsskiftet 2013/2014 MITT I LĂSĂ
RET tar oss för pannan och skakar uppgivet pĂ„ huvudet. Ă
ngesten och oron det skapade hos barn, förÀldrar och lÀrare med en plötslig pÄtvingad flytt till ny skola, som inte ens var förberedd pÄ sÄ mÄnga nya elever, gÄr knappt att beskriva. Beslutet var obegripligt. Och Àr det fortfarande.
Vi överklagade och förklarade att det inte finns ett bristande elevunderlag (elever i F-3 hade ökat). Vi pÄvisade hur Fridhemsskolan var skolan med det nÀst lÀgsta underskottet bland alla grundskolor i Solna. I det nybyggda omrÄdet precis bredvid skolan(!) stÀllde man sig förstÄs frÄgande till begreppet "nÀrhet till skola" som lÀgenheterna marknadsförts med. TyvÀrr ville inte förvaltningsrÀtten höra oss dÄ.
FrÄgan som bubblar runt i mitt huvud Àr: Vad har Solna sparat pÄ att stÀnga skolan (nyrenoverad med bland annat hiss) mitt i ett lÀsÄr, behÄlla lokalerna, för att sedan öppna den tvÄ och ett halvt Är senare. Hur ser pengasumman ut som var motivationen för denna magstarka hantering av mÀnniskor?
