When technology becomes faster it can also steal time from moments of value.
Imagine a computer taking 90 seconds to start up in the morning. You press the on switch and during the wait you naturally take a moment to exchange pleasantries with your colleagues, ask them about their families, hobbies or more immediate concerns. They reciprocate with a smile.
Fast forward two years and the same computer takes 7 seconds to start. You have barely enough time to sit down and adjust your seat.
Now thereâs no need to talk to your colleagues. No need to smile. Because technology has just saved you so much time. Almost 6 hours per year. Per employee
I guess someone somewhere is smiling.

@nakenbadaren För mig var det vĂ€rst att inte veta. Att mĂ€nniskorna gör det Ă€r ju redan helt sant eftersom en mĂ€nniska, eller förmodligen mĂ„nga mĂ€nniskor, bestĂ€mde sig för att publicera đŹ.
Men alltid sÄ nyfiken pÄ hur mycket eller lite man vÀljer att tÀnka sjÀlv nÀr man godkÀnner dylika texter....

I've always wanted ChatGPT to meet the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland.
I'm guessing it would go something like this.
