I started my first podcast in the spring of 2007, not long before the first iPhone was released to the world. Back then the origin of the word podcast was more obvious, as dedicated producers and consumers of course listened on Apple's groundbreaking mp3 player, the iPod.
After spending a small fortune on microphones over the past 16 years, interviewing wonderful people across the world, and receiving attention I often have a hard time reckoning with (the 11-year old UX Podcast has recently surpassed 2.5 million downloads), I'm now releasing my fifth(!) #podcast.

@Kay Thank you Kay! This is a great start. Have seen a great deal on blockchains but will definitely check these out as potential sources.
Also been reading up on "dark data" (not the greatest name) and am becoming worryingly aware of for example taking multiple photos of the same subject and just letting those photos rest on my device, copied onto cloud servers, to be hosted by electrically powered data centers for all foreseeable future never to be used again.
Multiplied by a few billion devices...
Wondering if anyoneâs seen an article or reporting on the environmental impact of all these ânovelâ chatbots?

Jag startade min första podd vÄren 2007, strax innan första iPhone-luren slÀpptes pÄ marknaden. PÄ den tiden var det mer uppenbart varför det heter podcast, eftersom vi hÀngivna producenter och konsumenter förstÄs lyssnade via Apples banbrytande mp3-spelare iPod.
Efter mÀngder av pengar nerplöjda i mikrofoner under de senaste 16 Ären, intervjuer med underbara mÀnniskor frÄn hela vÀrlden, och en uppmÀrksamhet som jag ofta har svÄrt att ta till mig (11-Äringen UX Podcast har passerat 2,5 miljoner nerladdningar) slÀpper jag nu min fjÀrde podd.

För tre Är sedan skrev jag om hur Dagens industri lurar in mÀnniskor i lÄnga bindningstider. Prova-pÄ-perioder för 49 kronor leder in mÀnniskor i ÄrslÄnga avtal pÄ 4.000 kronor eller mer. I tre Är har Dagens industri kommit undan med orden "vi ska titta pÄ det hÀr", och fortsÀtter att komma lindrigt undan.
I december blev jag uppringd av en journalist som arbetade med ett reportage om dessa förhÄllanden för programmet PlÄnboken i Sveriges radio P1. Bakgrunden till reportaget Àr det som kom som en glad nyhet för mig: Konsumentverket riktar skarp kritik mot Dagens industri.
Programmet inleds med ett inslag som berÀttar om problembilden genom att varva med kommentarer frÄn mig och en prenumerant som blivit inlÄst i ett avtal pÄ tre Är.

I've invented a test to succeed the Turing test, which I feel is becoming more and more obsolete.
You may call it the Axbom test. Short for Autonomous Xenogeneic Bitter Offensive Machine test.
You ask the AI any standard everyday question (For example: "What is the weather in Tolouse?") and the AI responds "Fuck you, I'm not working today."
Only then will we know that the AI is truly autonomous.

Iâm probably setting up myself for a lot of work but Iâm getting ready to start a podcast where I read and publish audio versions of many of my blog posts.
Several reasons:
- Accessibility. Many people need or prefer audio over text.
- Distribution. People in general do not knowingly subscribe to RSS feeds anymore. But they do when itâs a podcast. Maybe it can help as a reminder to read the blog as well.
- Love the podcast format and I guess itâs nice to have a channel ready for any scenario where I want to get some random thoughts out there in response to current events, and not necessarily related to design.
- Interesting stuff happens when I read my posts. I emphasise things when I read, making them more noticeable as audio. I also catch written mistakes. If I can manage to record audio before publishing the post, all posts will gain from it.
Also, itâs also actually two podcasts. Haha. One for the English blog and one for the Swedish blog.
And this is of course on top of @uxpodcast đ

I get this question from time to time in the workplace. Over the years it has, contrary to my expectations, become harder to answer. Not because I do not know, but because it is not readily summarised in an easily digestible product name.
