@belola My idea is to only schedule 6 tasks on 9 blocks per day, precisely to have time for both rest and catch-up :) Usually one block per day is about rebooting the brain.
@belola Granted, this is much easier for me as a freelancer deciding I do not work 8 hours a day.

@dweinberger 😝 I don't, but I agree the wording of the title creates those connotations. I see myself as in constant flux, and I liked a lot of the advice in the article, which included paths I've followed and that have helped me feel better.
So paths, rather than binary commands. :)
7 Proven Ways to Reprogram Your Thoughts
1. Change daily routine incrementally
2. Travel
3. Read fiction
4. Align time with priorities
5. Sleep well
6. Avoid caffeine
7. Get quiet time

It's interesting that when our brain tells us we are tired, many will choose the path of caffeine rather than rest. Including yours truly.
@sketchapp Everything on my artboard just became transparent / greyed out. What did I click and how do I get out of it? (lines and circles are supposed to be black)

I've started using Milanote to collect and brainstorm all my writing ideas, seems great for storymapping as well. You can try it out for free if you're curious: milanote.com/refer/rcAo0q4W…
They named it Hustle. Because that is now standard practice.
I swear, the line between reality and fiction is just not there anymore.

Compulsory reading. ’Silicon Valley is turning into its own worst fear’. On #capitalism #ethics and #ai. But mostly about unchecked corporations. buzzfeed.com/tedchiang/the-…
”There are industry observers talking about the need for AIs to have a sense of ethics, and some have proposed that we ensure that any superintelligent AIs we create be “friendly,” meaning that their goals are aligned with human goals. I find these suggestions ironic given >>>
that we as a society have failed to teach corporations a sense of ethics, that we did nothing to ensure that Facebook’s and Amazon’s goals were aligned with the public good.”
What are the odds of me seeing this tweet on Nigerian standup comedy, stop scrolling, go to mailbox, flip open my new @PositiveNewsUK mag randomly to this spread about Nigerian standup comedy?

Life means balancing between being happy with who you are and having the ambition to do better. Both these definitions, who I am and what is better, are constantly being infiltrated by external forces. Satisfaction is being resilient to those forces.

📍 Posted in: Vi på SSWC
