My 13yo is amazing at English spelling and must be getting it from video games because he just doesn't read many books, especially not in English. Yesterday he nailed 35 phrases/words into English... one of them I thought he would struggle with: "Damn it".
Did. Not. Hesitate.

@d0pp13r What I failed to mention was that the person ahead of me turned to me and said "Do not try the contactless option, it doesn't work." đ
The pretty @Starbucks machine invites me to insert my card. I do, and promptly obscure the further instructions. đ€Ș

To anyone seeing the NFC symbol on my card and the machine and thinking I should just have done a contactless purchase... no, that didn't work.
There is something rotten in the state of UX... another good one by @jmspool

My biggest issue is with the Close-button. I would have expected the label âSaveâ.

On September 17, 1849, Harriet Tubman managed to escape from the people who kept her as slave. Eliza Brodess, the slave owner, put out a $300 reward for the return of Harriet (called Minty) and her brothers. harriettubmanbiography.com

A box full of workbooks for my workshop at EuroIA: Mostly Harmless â Design for digital with a conscience.
Participants will learn some practical methods for incorporating an ethical mindset and framework in their current design processes.
And through self-reflection they will learn a bit more about themselves.

âThere is always that stupid interview question: where do you see yourself or your company in five years. Instead, we should ask, what things do you think are important to do every day?â investorfieldguide.com/growth-withoutâŠ
Do you worry about being attracted to new products when you have no prior recollection of ever coveting what they claim to offer?
So LinkedIn posts do not have publishing dates (looking at the iPad app)? Isnât that the singular, most basic metadata there is?

Exploring digital design for humans. An artifact to promote further discussion.
Avoiding harm and contributing to well-being means respecting and accepting humans as they are, and empowering them to be who they are. For you as a designer this means a willingness to explore many paths to find one that will support a positive outcome for the people you impact. In design there are always many answers to the same question. Just make sure youâre asking the right one.
In this graphic I explore the many ways in which we can ask for gender in a web form, in an attempt to get you thinking about what it means to be usable, accessible, inclusive, sustainable, personal and informed.
