I just want to say how much I hate that Twitter DMs add link previews BEFORE my message, although I almost always finish my message with the link at the END. It also removes the link from that message.
It’s a stupid little thing to get upset about but there it is. Over and out.
Is there a logic to #VotingDay being on a weekday in the US?

@m8rt You mean I should have two iPads? ;)
In the end, the iPad Pro is, unfortunately, still an iPad. 😢

In 18 months Seville built an 80-kilometre bikepath grid. They removed 5,000 parking spaces in the city. Bicycles now serve 70,000 trips per day.
”The whole network is €32 million,” he says. That’s how many kilometers of highway — maybe five or six? It’s not expensive infrastructure. … We have a metro line that the cost was €800 million. It serves 44,000 trips every day. With bikes, we’re serving 70,000 trips every day.”
”Even the conservatives right now tend to be in favor of cycling,” Calvo said happily. “They’re complaining that the bike lanes are not being properly maintained.”

Giving a heads up that the new iPad Pro does NOT come with a headphone jack. Makes perfect sense for the companion device we use to watch films for hours on end on the sofa and when travelling. Not.

In the early 2000s I talked about how amazing it was that us bloggers could readily compete with global brands for attention. But this also means a handful of trolls can appear to be thousands. And media - and people whose prejudices are confirmed - swallow the bait. Every time.
This made my morning better. 😍 x.com/jensenmares/st…

”Gender languages appear to reduce women's labor force participation and perpetuate support for unequal treatment of women.”
Note: a gender language is one that assigns many -- sometimes all -- nouns to distinct sex-based categories, masculine and feminine.

@davegray Aye, stormy weather ahead. But yonder I see a garden of acceptance. To reach it we must expose all the worst, to understand and uncover what is the best. The worst is here and still growing, but more are finding purposeful struggles within themselves, not imposed by others.
