@jarango You're the first on the new feeds. Were you able to select English only posts?

@cwodtke @henrikeneroth A lot of work to be honest. But I can share some plugins that helped. Honestly if I had to do it again I would maybe pay a Wordpress consultant to do it. I did a lot of various changes though beyond only migration. Like integrated my Swedish and English blog into one.
@cwodtke @henrikeneroth No I wouldn't have hired someone actually. I'm all about that control. 😂

@henrikeneroth Exactly, that's who I'm paying. I previously used wpengine.

@DangerousDolly Lack of control over metadata, urls, code. Paywall mentality. Not paying writers from less developed nations. Promises not kept. Will blog. niemanlab.org/2019/03/the-lo…

@henrikeneroth 👍 Yeah I actually pay to have that done for me :)
FYI: I will be moving away from Medium as a publishing platform and back to Wordpress only on my own domain. It feels delicious.
It seems I took a wrong turn (the signs were misleading) and sometimes it's good to acknowledge that, backtrack, and get back on the right path.
I'll definitely blog about the reasons behind this when I officially "re-launch" my blog. :)

Många av er känner till min passion för etik inom design. När en ledargestalt som Tim Brown på IDEO avfärdar medicinsk etik med tankevurpan att man då inte skulle kunna göra något nytt... ja då kan jag inte hålla tyst.

@sophiedennis @kimgoodwin Thank you Sophie. Now my thoughts on this have transformed into a blog post :)

Recently Tim Brown, CEO of IDEO, received a question about ethics and the Hippocratic Oath. In his response he says: "if we made the oath to first do no harm as designers, we would likely never do anything new".
I could not let this statement go uncommented. Prominent design leaders need to be more careful in their statements around ethics.

@joelanman @kimgoodwin Thanks for your patience Joe, I did want to respond but I couldn't keep it short. I think you have a valid point and here are all of my reactions to Tim Brown's statements, featuring your question as well:
