Honestly, you should be listening to @sarahkendzior and @AndreaChalupa. They are 50 steps ahead of everyone else.
A CEO posts a "graph" (a line showing an upwards trend and then a downwards trend) on LinkedIn and says it shows how the effect of all market communication is dropping. No scale, no numbers, no units.
People go on to discuss why it's dropping.
This is the problem right here. 😫

@berkun Hey @CRBarretto, maybe you know of some good design stories?
Just published: Lack of representation in AI puts vulnerable people at risk
I felt concerned when Sweden’s government authority for digitalization of the public sector presented a new advisory group within AI — with a glaring lack of diversity. Concerned enough to write a blog post about what is being called a diversity crisis in AI.
New on the blog: Lack of representation in AI puts vulnerable people at risk
(Yes, Sweden struggles as well)

There is now an official response from DIGG on this issue on LinkedIn, as part of a response to a post by @NinniU.
I've added relevant reactions to my original blog post:

@multikev Thanks Kevin! How long ago was this, and have you regretted the decision?
Do you have any stories that you tell about getting a much better experience after handing over your data to an online service?

Saying ”may not” or ”may impair”, do websites just don’t know?

@dinkompismia Medhåll. Intressant att ingen ännu i artikeln eller tråden verkar problematisera om PKU-registret - där vi har flera fall att lära oss av. Fast just det, där finns ju bara personer födda i Sverige...

@tomsoderlund Yup, on the maturity level of representation this is a disappointing example.
Sweden’s government authority for digitalization of the public sector, DIGG, has a new advisory team (”referensgrupp”) for the field of AI.
Thinking of Sweden as a country boasting gender equality I did a double take when viewing its composition.

In April of this year, this research paper from @AINowInstitute came out, about the diversity crisis in the AI sector across gender and race.

I kind of like @Calendly as a service, but they still have not fixed the option of having weeks start on Monday. This creates a lot of unnecessary confusion for people in Europe who want to book meetings with me. Anyone using a Calendly alternative they can recommend?
I remember reading many years ago about a tier of income above which you do not increase your well-being. I believe there is a lot of truth to this but I've seen very little mention of it in the past few years. What politicians are pushing this point?

”Plus, get a free tote bag.”
I mean, really, @NewYorker 😂 This type of marketing language is cringe-worthy. ”Please pay to get something for free.” But also: ”since we know our journalism isn’t enough we want to entice you by gifting you another environmental impact.”

Here’s an article spelling it out. qz.com/1585027/when-i…
