These days I mostly see job postings when they are forwarded to me for "amusement", which is a problem because more and more I feel some responsibility to take a stand against the atrocities.

This is for a "UX/UI Designer". x.com/axbom/status/1…

Now I want to conduct research to find out what organizations think they are asking for when they say UX/UI Designer and conversely what candidates think they are applying for.

Or just make a rap song about how data is another word for users.

🎼 I saw four people in a drive-in queue
I told one of them "well hey, fuck you!"
And then there were three.
They were just data to me.

Data. A number for a person.
Data. Are you paying attention?
Data. Don't be unaware.
Data. It's how I show I care.

Is this how I come undone...?

When I first heard about having to "register to vote" in the US it didn't make sense to me. Now I understand how it works. But it still doesn't make any sense. Thankful for this 2016 writeup featuring @whitneyq, which uses Sweden as an example.

Another enlightening article, from 2008.

"the United States ranks 139 out of 172 countries when it comes to turnout"
