@theredheadsaid Very true. In my head I was hearing the peer variant 😂
@theredheadsaid People around me are now saying the hard "r" from Per doesn't exist in English.
@theredheadsaid So I was all kinds of wrong 😂
↪ Replying to @unknown
@theredheadsaid The best way to explain it is that the "e" sounds like "ai" in Pair (in queen's English). But the "r" is hard like in ferry.

@KikoEnjani Funny thing about Swahili and Swedish is that I've found them quite similar in pronunciation. Not that I know more than basic greetings, but I've at least heard and seen enough to have a reasonable idea ;)

@theredheadsaid Both :) You'd think one syllable wouldn't pose as many misconstructions as it does. 😁
Ha, I would have pronounced Ya-shev-ski.
Thinking of adding a sound file to my landing page with a guide to pronouncing my name. I realize I'm wondering this often about others... maybe someone out there is curious about mine.
I don't mind mispronunciations though...
A man on Zanzibar 20 years ago: "You're name is mathematical!"
Me: ?
Zanzibar man: Yes, 40 kilometres PER hour! *lol*
I know people are asking around and waiting to get an invite to HEY email. But I don't think you need one anymore? Just go to the site and register for an account... no code needed. Worked for me in two different browsers.

@Grinblo I'm not sure you still need one? I could go straight to the site and register a new account this morning.

@fimbault My understanding is that more parties adds to the complexity of managing it well. Is that fair?
Perhaps the more interesting point is supporting Google and Amazon, which many want to avoid today, and I should make a separate point about that.

@fimbault Hi fabien! I found it interesting to know which subprocessors they have chosen to use. Especially Mailchimp for an e-mail service was interesting to me.
Would you argue that this part of my post does not disclose anything that is helpful in decision-making?
@fimbault My thinking was that it would encourage people to compare with the subprocessors used in other services, such as @ProtonMail, @Fastmail and @mailbox_org.

@HTeuMeuLeu Je suis d’accord. Merci d'avoir partagé.

@ProtonMail @P_Wychowalek @olivierbuffon Is there information on if HEY e-mail are doing something differently here, such as stripping query strings in images even when they are loaded? This would limit tracking data significantly.

@amybphd Thank you Amy. 😊 Right!? I really did expect first impressions to be much stronger.
I took some time to write about the new HEY e-mail service. I cover why you may feel like you want it, why maybe you shouldn’t, and also add some practical tips on how you can improve your current inbox situation.
