I’ve added some sites to my computer’s ‘hosts’ file to prevent my computer from reaching them or triggering them. Every time I click on a link that brings me to for example Facebook and nothing loads I’m like “oh, Facebook is down”. And then a second later I remember. EVERY time.

När podden Greppa UX släpper årets sista avsnitt i "uncut"-version är det med lilla mig som intervjuobjekt. Det var en otroligt varm och inbjudande intervju där vi även gjorde en kul uppvärmningsövning med ugglor innan vi drog igång inspelningen.
Den som är lite extra vaken märker att jag nämner ett nytt projekt som jag jobbar på, och i avsnittets "show notes" finns en första länk till detta projekt - du kan bli en av de första som hittar det. Lyssna först och leta sedan =) En tydligare lansering kommer i eftermiddag.
Volume of usage is not a success metric for me, unless it is coupled with an indicator of wellbeing.
As it turns out, expressions of appreciation has become my most important metric for online content. Sadly, those sometimes get lost when the focus is too much on likes.
Essentially:
1) Apple is giving people a choice.
2) Facebook knows people will make the choice of not being tracked.
3) Facebook campaigns to block people's ability to choose.
It's just Facebook being Facebooky.

Facebook writes that "Facebook numbers show" that "without personalized ads" small business owners will lose 60% of sales. Who says that personalized ads will disappear completely, even on Apple devices? People can say yes. And there is so much more wrong with their logic...
