Det här är INTE ett aprilskämt utan faktiskt på riktigt hur SEB:s webbplats såg ut och fungerade när jag granskade den för elva(!) år sedan, i februari 2010. De hade en länk i menyn som hette "Rulla åt höger". Varsågod och titta för att häpna över vad som hände när man klickade på den 😅
Utvecklingen går ändå framåt på några områden ;)

@mikeindustries Oh cool. I've haven't tried one yet. Was hoping to last year, but all events were of course cancelled. We'll see what happens in 2021. I kind of like the stuff they put themselves through, imagining I might enjoy it, but that could be me fooling myself 😁

@mikeindustries Yeah, I agree that was weird, and it seemed to me they didn't even understand how cold it would be. I am glad they tried it, but electric doesn't feel ready for bikes. Don't know how far in you are but I may have been enjoying later adventures enough to forget the first part ;)

@JaredFossey From what I understand, defenestration implies that the window breaks. Fenestration would be putting the window in. It works in context: In 1452, King James II of Scotland murdered William Douglas, 8th Earl of Douglas, with his own hands and defenestrated him at Stirling Castle.

@JaredFossey Some really fascinating etymology here. A bit of a Swedish lesson too =) Fenestration is the arrangement of window within a façade.

Yesterday I learned the word defenestration and about the long list of notable defenestrations. It means to throw someone out a window. It made me want to start a long-running podcast talking about defenestrations since Queen Jezebel in 9th century BC. Ominous, but educational.

Finnish has gender neutral pronouns. When seeing other examples of prejudice in Google Translate, people often assert that context matters. In this example, despite the wording, Google won't even understand that these are three sentences about the same person. AI for the win.
