#InformedConsent is a key element of the research process. But most actors aren’t very good at trust and safety in research situations.
Joining us on the show are Kim Foulds and Joyce Rafla, sharing how they made use of videos featuring Sesame Workshop muppets to make the consent process inclusive and accessible.

But also need to remind myself of the attention to calm and wellbeing I pursue and enjoy here. The real reason I’m excited about the Fediverse. I left all that other social media for several reasons.

@simonlindgren Det låter iofs som standardbeteendet. Om jag besöker någons profil på deras instans, då kan jag inte direkt följa utan att tala om vem jag är. Jag är ju inte inloggad på den instansen så därför inte igenkänd på den webbadressen.
Men ett smidigare sätt (tycker jag) är att kopiera adressen till personens profil och klistra in den i sökrutan på den egna instansen. Då kan man klicka följ direkt från sökresultatet.

@rysiek Valid points. My take was always that it's about the artefact itself. So okay to showcase in commercial settings but not to sell on its own as the reason for charging money. But I see where it can make people hesitate. I'll have a think about it.
@rysiek In this particular case I'm also truly myself of the conviction that people can use it when consulting, to show the concept of the Fediverse. Just not print and sell copies of it.
Thinking like that it makes sense to drop the NC :)
@simonlindgren Hej! Det borde inte vara annorlunda. Kan det vara så att hen använder en ovanlig app, eller är det webbgränssnittet som är annorlunda?
Om man använder app brukar jag säga att det funkar bäst med Metatext på iOS eller Tusky på Android.

@rysiek definitely open to that conversation! Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Honestly I was probably a bit too quick when typing that license on the image. I usually have SA I realised!
But I also usually have NC in combination with this. You would suggest not having NC at all? My though when adding this for my blogs is to avoid people making books to sell with my content.
@ingridsdotra Bäst tipset är att använda "Content Warning" (CW) frikostigt. Snackar man politik kan man bara skriva politik som content warning så är det enkelt att scrolla förbi om man inte vill läsa, eller öppna och läsa om man är på det humöret :) Alla svar får samma CW som första inlägget.
Gör man det här finns det nog inga ämnen som inte funkar att ta upp, tänker jag.
