Have a fever and feeling really ill. I hate how nervous being ill makes me now that it's established I'm in a risk group due to my mechanical heart valve.
And I have an INR test appointment this morning. No idea how that will be managed. Waiting on a response from the clinic.

Blood has been drawn successfully. I was able to visit their special infection room. The results from this test will determine if I am allowed the covid and flu vaccine next week. My expectations are low.
I informed a person who scheduled an interview with me next week that Iâll have to do it on one of my car commutes. To which they replied it would be exciting with an online meeting with only sound...

I love this Bluesky setting. Itâs excellent that itâs there and that everyone can turn it on. It helps us remind ourselves that this is a community â or many communities â of people who contain multitudes.

@mralancooper I actually made a play on this Desmond Tutu quote in my 2022 talk on AI and human rights, and made an AI version.
Original version:

Re-worked for an AI future:
"When the techbros came to Africa they had the AI and we were reclaiming our land. They said 'Let us play.â We put on goggles and closed our eyes. When we opened them we had western clothes, art, architecture and social rules. The AI erased our land."

Something Bluesky does that Iâve never seen on any other platform, is to recognize when Iâm writing in Swedish or English.
My language setting for a post is always on the most recently used setting, but after a minute, Bluesky will ask me: âAre you writing in Englishâ if the Swedish setting is on.
