The significance of IE6 is that it slowed down web development for years (it was notoriously bad) and there were many campaigns to kill it off.

I've always wondered how much of it is by default, but in this case the design decision would be to refrain from addressing the assertiveness - as its effects would be evident in user observation and testing.
I could certainly be commenting on "AI" all day long, but I do feel the post I wrote two years ago is still as true as ever. The hype mob is just hoping we'll grow tired of repeating it.

This could be helpful to others with enough tech skills, but who wouldn’t usually feel comfortable running their own server. I’ve been running my own server for a few years now using Cloudron. If you’re up for it I can really recommend it… www.cloudron.io
