Worried when the development of features appears to be down to

* how strongly a lead developer FEELS about it
* the EXPERIENCE of a strong demand with little reasoning about who and why
* a leaning towards a sudden demand from brand new users rather than concerns expressed by longtime users

The appeal of Mastodon was its stated attention to compassion. I’m not a person at risk, but I see the expressed fear of disenfranchised people, whose voices are weaker by the day with the surge in users.
