I was interviewed by Swedish radio today about a prominent magazine that tricks people into expensive subscriptions with a 12-month commitment period.
I blogged in detail about it early 2020 and have gotten a lot of attention and thanks from people who are victims of the gambit. Despite my best efforts no coverage from regular media outlets.
Finally, public radio are covering this, the magazine is being reviewed and it would appear that yes, they are breaking the law.
Took almost 3 years(!)
(con’td) I talked to the journalist today about my struggle to get anyone in the media to listen, and their best guess was that journos don’t want to cover their ”colleagues”.
Sweden is a small country and covering this story could mean burning bridges.
As I mentioned, it’s a prominent magazine with lots of clout: Dagens industri.
Here is the original Swedish post:

I’ll be working on a follow-up report on the verdict of the inquiry, to be published early next year.
