@tivasyk @HunterZ I feel I may have confused people a bit with how I worded that. I don't mean that people who reply should set their replies as unlisted (necessarily). Rather, if a person writes a thread of 5 toots, they can set toots number 2-5 as unlisted. Then people will see the first toot but not the rest in their feeds. Which in many cases will make more sense.
@tivasyk @HunterZ But the correct response to your question is that anything that is public will be visible once you view any toot in the thread. That goes for all the toots in the thread and any replies from other people.
