This is my reaction to our government this Monday proposing legislation that would allow Swedish police to make use of provocative measures to gain access to online forums, and themselves generate CSAM. I explain some of why generated images are not victimless images (which is what the proposal and presentation appear to imply), and how this way of working can exacerbate harm. But yes, there are many things worthy of a strong reaction after this press conference.
