In my talk on AI and human rights in January of last year I called out the fact that big tech's AI image searches still won't allow you to search for gorillas. Turns out their solution is still to ignore and hide the problem, as they don't trust their own AI and haven't been able to fix it in seven(!) years. The question then is, if the manufacturer can not trust their own product... why should its customers trust it?
