Heads up! I'm in Dar es Salaam and, as if by chance, Uber (UberX) have just launched here a few days ago. Haven't had a chance to ride yet but by next week I will definitely be posting a review.

It will be interesting to see how local taxi companies respond and I've hooked up to some people from the Tanzania tech scene on Twitter to get their opinions as well.
