@petetrainor @ozjimbob It's an interesting design challenge, how to communicate degree of uncertainty to the user.
@petetrainor @ozjimbob I would hope it offers guidance; I may just have to try it.

@petetrainor @ozjimbob "pretty good" could then potentially mean an outcome that is vice versa, no?
Today: @SwedishPM Stefan Löfven's first public appearance at press conf addressing the data leak. Nobody seems to know what time!? x.com/axbom/status/8…
@SwedishPM I'm looking at sources saying 2pm and it's NOT a press conference as they won't be taking questions. #transportgate
@SwedishPM Förvirringen är total. När är Stefan Löfvens pressträff? #transportgate

@SwedishPM The word on the street is now 3.30pm but also comments say 4pm. 😬

@SwedishPM An English article about what I'm on about. #transportgate thelocal.se/20170721/it-wo…

@scatteredbrainV Certainly. With "more people" I mean people outside that industry. People who will be greatly affected.
@scatteredbrainV There will be a ton of bad players getting into the industry as well.
@scatteredbrainV And with "bad people" I mean people with the intentions that will hurt people.
@scatteredbrainV From a personal perspective I see designers as having to deal with these issues more and more. And most will be rookies, by default.
@scatteredbrainV If we don't start thinking about our role in this we're gonna be rushing in blind.
↪ Replying to @val_brigatti
@scatteredbrainV Yeah, I just want more people to start realizing we have some daunting ethical and accountability issues ahead of us.
↪ Replying to @val_brigatti
@scatteredbrainV Fair point. But the premise then, as you say, is that the robot has something we can define as free will.
@scatteredbrainV I think I was thinking way before thay. As in 2-3 years from now.
↪ Replying to @val_brigatti
@scatteredbrainV Ah, but parents do not custom-build children. Yet! :)
@scatteredbrainV It will be interesting to see then when we can define the existence of the first autonomous robot. And if "creator" is a possible definition
"Children get their values and opinions from parents." You could tell your children to question everything you say though. Sensible and fun.
And I do realize this comes naturally for some children.

@Beastankar I'm writing a book about it this fall 😀. No solutions promised though... haha.
↪ Replying to @Beastankar
@Beastankar True, but does not solve the problem of accountability.
↪ Replying to @Beastankar
@Beastankar Yup. And even harder when we have psychiatrist bots and a patient commits suicide.
If someone builds a humanoid robot and this robot inadvertently kills someone, who is responsible? We need to figure this shit out soon.
