I’m in that zone where I’ve written a viral articel (in Swedish) and people who obviously haven’t read it are commenting. Even of the type: ”you’re wrong, it’s like this...” and then reiterating a point almost exactly as I’ve written it.
Humans, you’ve gotta love ’em. ❤️
It’s actually an interesting side effect of people choosing to quote from the article when they post it on Facebook, where this ”teaser” is intended to draw attention and interest to the post. Instead the discussion around that particular quote takes off.
Sad to even have to point it out, but when you haggle for a lower price before I've even quoted you a fee I am not interested in your business.
You've just said to me: "Whatever your price is you're not worth it."
Ibland måste jag sätta av tid, ta mig en rejäl funderare och strukturera mina tankar i text, för att resonera mig fram till hur jag faktiskt känner och tycker i en fråga. Mobilförbud i skolan är en sådan fråga. Jag ser problemen i skolan, jag förstår varför vissa lärare (och en del föräldrar) skriker efter mobilförbud. Samtidigt ställer jag mig frågande till varför skolan inte skulle ta ansvar för att lära barnen hur de ska förhålla sig till ett av nutidens viktigaste kommunikations- och arbetsverktyg.
Som så ofta är det i grund och botten inte en fråga om en teknisk pryl, utan en fråga om ledarskap. Och just nu, en brist på detta ledarskap.

Om det är något debatten om mobilförbud tydliggör, så är det att lärande om mobilen behövs. Vem ska stå för det lärandet?

Yesterday I was in a hurry running around a corner. A blind man came around at the same time, his cane getting caught between my feet and in my stride I snapped it in two. The emotional distress I felt was unbearable; thankfully he turned out to be the coolest guy ever.
”Well that certainly made it shorter!” he exclaimed, laughing it off (about 30cm of the cane broke off). Noticing my intense distress and worry about how to proceed., he continued: ”Dude, don’t worry about it. The canes are free. Just keep walking and try not to think about it.”
Resilience in the face of adversity. He should give classes in that.
But the loud SNAP! of that cane, and realizing what had happened, will haunt me forever.

@nickf The best I’ve got is an internet marketing company in Jordan. Damn I would have loved for this to be a design pattern or an old-school design rule. 😛
