Every day of my Design Ethics course I have been collecting reflections and questions from the class (two weeks in now). On Friday my teaching is designed entirely around their input. So essentially, the students designed Friday's lesson. Excited to see how this plays out.

When storing data (sound/video/transcript et al) from user research, what strategy do you have for avoiding content ending up on various cloud services?
Or do you never save directly to a computer but rather to peripheral storage?

Yesterday, when I sent this out, was the 11-year anniversary of my company. My intent was to mention this in the newsletter, making a point of how I forgot my 10-year anniversary during the pandemic. But alas, I now realise I forgot to mention the 11-year anniversaryā¦ šš¤Ŗ

@AngelosArnis I am all about the ethics as you know :), so I think my concerns are more around how they treat/exploit/care for their participants. I remember coming across some controversy some months ago, but imagine there are many I know here with more insight.

Never underestimate the extent to which some journalists want to draw solid conclusions from incomplete and biased data. Ideally summarised in a misleading headline.
