Following up on my health issues earlier this week, this evening I find myself in the emergency room. They want to check up on if my shortness of breath could be caused by a blood clot in the lung.
Waiting on a CT scan.
It actually feels good to be in the right place.

Still waiting on the CT scan but it's now been decided the hospital will keep me overnight. They feel confident the scan will show something and want to be on the safe side.
This actually also feels good. By all means, keep me here 'til we all know what's going on inside me.

The plot thickens. So the scan showed nothing. No clot. Which is good. But more tests tomorrow to understand more about what's going on.
Now I get to sleep. It's quarter to midnight here.
Thanks for the well-wishes. 😊

Still at hospital. Tomorrow I'll have an ultrasound to eliminate unwanted possibilities.
For background on my aortic mechanical heart valve prosthesis I've written some pieces on my blogs:

Just a note to say I've been released from hospital. Thankfully no issues with the mechanical valve. The mitral valve leaflet however is elongated during physical exertion. Will be managed by boosting my dosage of beta blockers.
Importantly, I'm home and I'm doing okay. 😊
