@axbom.com: Thank you for not hesitating to ask. It’s ‘alternative text’. A way of describing the image to people who can not see the image, or have trouble understanding it. In terms of accessibility it helps more people participate w/out barriers. Here’s a great primer on writing alt text: per.ax/alt
