It helps to understand the "rulebook" of Bluesky. If you block someone here others can see that you blocked them.

@edent.tel: When you block an account on Mastodon, you get a detailed description of what blocking can and *can't* achieve. There's even a "see more" explanation. When you block someone on BSky, there's *no* indication of the limitations. For example, did you know that all your blocks are publicly visible?
