The more we try to automate stuff with machines to be more efficient, the more humans seem to suffer from occupational burnout and mental health issues. 🧐
Not at all saying there is causation but something feels off right now.
Per Axbom
”AI will change everything.”
”This is how AI will change your business.”
Once again many humans are excited about a technology and EXPECT it to change things around, failing to ask themselves: ”What do we actually, deep down, WANT the technology to do?”
This morning I came across the photo of a woman using a marionette of herself to feed squirrels in the park. I wanted the backstory, and I found it! It’s a great way to start Saturday morning. Can’t promise you won’t cry: nydailynews.com/new-york/puppe…

@5u5anCarey @cocoafrog Now that would be something 😂. My opening times are more flexible than Der Alte Schwede though.

@cocoafrog @5u5anCarey The Old Swede has opening and closing times, so someone seems to be making an effort to keep its data updated.

@cocoafrog @5u5anCarey Anyway, seems you need to have both a verified location in Google Business and enough user data to make the discloure of the information reliable.

@munsonbh Thanks. This list will have to grow over time. Generally, when working with accessibility I include differing linguistic background in cognitive disabilities, and would thus include it in ”disability minority”. But further clarifications will certainly be required.
Lots of takeaways from the @RBReich documentary Saving Capitalism.

Outtake.
You’ll want to watch Inequality for All as well. Check out netflix.com/title/70267834
@RBReich does an amazing job of explaining how inequality is triggered. This is so important for more people to understand.
How do you explain memes (in words) to people who have never seen a meme?
Just called out my dad on the habit of referring to the act of asking your wife as ”asking the government”, a common habit among men in Sweden born earlier than the 80s. Not expecting to change a lot in this particular case but practicing and setting an example is always good.
Ethics is now on the curriculum of the UX designer trade school program for which I’m on the advisory board. Feels huge. Many emotions.😍😭😀
