I just drew Gizmo in Keynote! 😃 Don't know why I put myself through these things but it's also somewhat crazy what you can actually do in Keynote...

↪ Replying to @DaveLaFontaine
@DaveLaFontaine Thanks. I wasn’t entirely sure if I was making sense but you did a beautiful interpretation!
When someone says the internet eliminates the middlemen (the intermediary between two parties), it essentially means that the architects, designers and developers of the digital system are the intermediary party.
Just not accountable.
The theme for #WorldUsabilityDay on November 8 is Good or Evil, which obviously feels close to heart for me. I will be speaking in Stockholm at Sthlm Xperience Conference - my talk is called: "Don’t Feed the Designers After Midnight".
And the awesome Pamela Pavliscak will be keynoting with her talk "How to Create a Future with Feeling"!

The unique selling point though is that @paminthelab will be keynoting!

I've just submitted a conference talk called 'Don't Feed the Designers After Midnight' and I'm childishly overjoyed about thinking of that title.
Also gives me a perfect excuse to rewatch the film.

Completely agree with the sentiment but wow that website is hard for me to read. twitter.com/adrianegger/status/104…
Pictured is my Remington Standard 12 typewriter from circa 1925, with a Swedish keyboard. Remington is notable as a brand of typewriter because their first two typewriters had features that are still in use today on all computer keyboards across the world.
The 1st feature is the QWERTY keyboard, invented by Christopher Latham Sholes. The feature added to the Remington no. 2, released in 1880 and later used by Agatha Christie, is the SHIFT key
And the tale is true, the QWERTY keyboard was thus designed to solve jamming problems.
Typewriter trivia: The first mechanical typing machine was invented by italian Pellegrino Turri for his blind friend Countess Carolina Fantoni da Fivizzano so she could write him letters. It's suggested they were love letters.
Attached an image from one of the surviving letters.

Consolidating my news consumption. Thinking of focusing on 7 podcasts and 7 newspapers to see if that can help my time management.
But my question to you is: what newspapers or news sources do you subscribe to or donate to?

Bias is an energy-preservation habit. To manage bias you must actively exert energy. I believe you must: take care of your own health, understand your own values and goals, listen without prejudice, and practice objecting to activities that are contrary to your values and goals.
