My living room wall right now... Not sure it's healthy watching this though. #CohenHearings

@deeped Du har rätt. Ur ett branding-perspektiv är det rimligare. Däremot ogillar jag det ur ett sälj-perspektiv. Vi kan designa så att människor tar mer rationella beslut som bättre gynnar deras välmående.
This is a sad look at how branding views consumers. Focus on product rather than trust/relationship. Short rather than long-term. Emotional rather than planned and logical.

@mulegirl “I understand now why you don’t have to wear a suit. You actually know stuff!” – Said in seriousness by a management consultant in a suit.
I have just read the full text of Cohen’s opening statement, planned for his congressional testimony today. Via @nytimes.
I promise you’ve never read anything like it:

Goals:
* Return to proper self-hosted blogging, with posts on a regular basis.
* Return to RSS readers for news.
* Return to listserv (or similar simple solutions) for discussion groups
I'm thinking September as a deadline for reaching these goals.
I have to say I’ve been having a lovely time on Twitter these past few days, interacting with nice people with a healthy sense of humor as well as responsibility.
Positive experiences need to be called out too.

@stocktonfire Not you, the owner of the sign for ”ROOMS AVALIABLE”. No emergency, but bad spelling printed on canvas (where any number of people could have spotted it before print) can get me fired up. 😉
I hate that the first thing I see in this picture is the spelling mistake. I need help. x.com/stocktonfire/s…

Apple bought a lease for a large part of land embedded in Stockholm's most central public space. Now that they're not allowed to build a store there they're not selling it back (or at least raising the price substantially). The lease is valid until 2046.
