”This notion that in each of us resides the power to imagine a better world, a kinder world that we can actually manifest if we believe in our vision enough, that is a powerful message and I think it is one we all need to hear.”

@immersedlaugh Yeah, I'm thinking mostly about the owners and staff of the place. To have it just disappear like that. Surreal.

@immersedlaugh That entire area has been closed down all day with police circling around. This food place was a distance away from other buildings so I think there is a lot less damage to neighboring buildings than one would imagine. Thanks for the check-in.
Just turned down a talk at a kickoff event to get staff excited about digital and all the wonderful opportunities it presents. I mean, I don't even know how to do that anymore. I'm broken.😬
There was a huge explosion 400 meters from our home last night around 01:30. Thought it was thunder crack, as it was raining. Turns out a small street food restaurant was blown to bits, in an industrial area. It's where we often walk past with the dog.
It's popular and the outside seating is frequently full with guests. No one was hurt in this though, and it happened in an industrial area.
The number of trolls, haters and politicians busy now trying to score points, yet without any knowledge of causes, is disheartening.
The ability to spend time on reflection is one of the world's largest deficits right now, I think.
Hot air we have all kinds of.
Walking past the explosion site some weeks later... the yellow building in the background is a kindergarten.

@m8rt I didn't want to be serious 😝
In the end it's a non-issue. The card won't stop working. You won't really need the card since you pay with the phone or a watch (if anything is old tech it's the card). And personally I don't really care what the card looks like. :)
Since the Apple card can't deal with leather (no wallets) or denim (no jeans pockets) I expect there will be an Apple card dongle that attaches to your pants for holding your card?
I mean pockets are old tech and I appreciate Apple taking the lead in eliminating them.
