"The law can not determine right and wrong. And it doesn't even try. The law only determines legal and illegal, which is a very different thing from moral and immoral."

@berkun Hmm, I wonder if a more surprising image would be a good fit, and it would then have to be from a use-case/example in your book. So every time I look at the book I remember that example :)

@berkun Voted. I did not let it affect my vote, but I’d reflect on how a fixed perspective of the globe as a symbol works in print. The globe is always centered on one part of the world, with the risk of the rest of the world feeling left out. All the designs are fantastic though.

@grishund Min första tanke är att Audible-appen har synk-problem och att jag skulle logga ut och in igen i appen...
Working on a talk where I’ll be calling out the exploitation and neglect of vulnerable people in a big way and I can almost hear myself shouting on stage. It will be an eruption of internalized frustrations...

@jasonmesut @chrisnoessel @jmspool Here's where I think Jared would point out that most design is poor design. :)
And why the job of design leaders is to help others in producing better designs.
I understand the intent, but "optimization" doesn't acknowledge all the crap produced...? 💩

This was an interesting take on ”I do not want more tips” in a banking app.
In order to access the tips if I turn them off, the only way is to uninstall and reinstall the app. I only learn of this constraint by clicking the ’question mark’-icon.

@JesperBylund From my understanding you can loan a Kindle book to another person only a single time for a period of 14 days if the publisher has allowed it? Apple Books of course won’t allow lending at all.

@schoeyfield Libraries are the best. Happy to see my oldest child frequenting one. 👊
Is there any way I can put this tweet on my wall, animation and all? 😂 twitter.com/Graffotti/status/11931…
There should be a name for the practice of leaving 1-star reviews of apps because you are disappointed by the limits imposed on a free account.
I'm embarassed to disclose how many times I've failed in the last hour to download and set up a habit tracker, because something on Twitter "caught my eye". 😁

↪ Replying to @WolfgangBremer
@WolfgangBremer Yeah, at the same time I remember the PAL and NTSC and SECAM debacle. Global licensing is a mess. Also thinking about getting music on vinyl, then cassette, then cd (and even buying a minidisc player), downloading (iPod), then streaming.
@WolfgangBremer I can see why there is nostalgia for vinyl...
