@maxwendkos Learned now the arrow means ”pull down”. I saw the arrow as a symbol for continuation of the previous tweet.
↪ Replying to @EXTRACTABLE
@EXTRACTABLE @Twitter Thx. Learned now that I’m supposed to pull down, not click.

@anithvishwanath Thanks. As you can tell, I pretty much hate it. Besides being utterly confused. 😂
↪ Replying to @EXTRACTABLE
@EXTRACTABLE @Twitter Thanks. I tried clicking on it but nothing happened. Do you know what parameters cause it to be displayed? Because it’s not always there.
This text I’ve never noticed in @Twitter’s compose window before is driving me crazy. How do I get rid of it?
I don’t want to ”add to previous tweet”. I’m writing a new tweet.

And as it turns out, it didn’t add to previous tweet... and I see no logic for when this text is displayed or not. Do I just have to learn to ignore it?

@heather_ia @lara_portmann I actually made it up myself right now though I'm sure others have come up with it as well in the past. I put it in quotes as my "translation" of what Twitter was offering in this scenario.
"You get balloons and we get targeting data. It's a win-spin situation!" 🎈

@theantitheory @lizjosullivan You had me at learning and then scared the crap out of me with amusement.
Well played.

@steveportigal @jarango I read it as "Fuck all three of you".
Luckily I acknowledged that as very off-brand. 😂

@dndjeppe @alden_niklas @dagensindustri Det är väl inget i denna text som talar om att det inte går att säga upp prenumerationen under de 12 månaderna?

@davortomic To accept present circumstances as immovable is a scary concept for me, especially when you are essentially forced into terms. In numbers I believe all forms of change is possible. Sometimes also by just exposing injustice and unfairness.
Hmm...

@davortomic But in my "false dichotomy" statement I also open the playing field to many other options.
* Campaign for more people to close their accounts
* Use other services to circumvent what I don't like
* Build something better
* ...
I'm sure the list can be very long...
This. "If you don't like it, then leave." is a always non-argument. Many services are becoming less and less voluntary. Also, it's a false dichotomy. If I don't like it, I might also choose to work to change what I don't like.
And yes, this is hostile messaging. x.com/CarissaVeliz/s…

Wishing now there was a quick course to become a civil rights lawyer so I could step in and better help people from all these shady business practices.
Wait, couldn't I just buy a diploma online? 🤪
