APP-UPPDATERINGAR den 12 MARS för beta-testare (alla som använder appen just nu):
• Det är nu möjligt att bjuda in genom att skriva in telefonnummer, och man behöver inte dela sin adressbok.
• Man kan dela länkar till profiler och klubbar.
Till exempel:
• Clubhouse-profil: https://www.joinclubhouse.com/@axbom
• Digital Ethics (club in English): https://www.joinclubhouse.com/club/digital-ethics
• Digital Etik (klubb på svenska): https://www.joinclubhouse.com/club/digital-etik
• Språkfiltrering. Appen försöker förstå vilka språk man föredrar och primärt visa rum på dessa språk. Jag tycker förstås det vore bättre om jag fick tala om det själv.
• Knappen "Report for trolling" är omdöpt till "Report for disruptive behavior". Trolling var mycket riktigt för vagt. Man säger också att man förbättrat automatiserade sätt att upptäcka oönskade beteenden.
• Du kan nu deaktivera ditt konto direkt från appen. Oklart dock om deaktivera och radera (som GDPR vill att man gör lätt) är samma sak.
• Om man bjuder in någon till en grupp (som inte har Clubhouse sedan innan) så kommer gruppens namn vara det som indikerar hur personen kom in i Clubhouse, på deras profil.

The fact that my children likely won't experience spending whole days outside and/or travelling without being tied to an electronic device… that thought kind of just horrified me.
Also reminded me I've been meaning to re-read Brave New World.

@sara_ann_marie Thank you Sara. This perspective resonates with me. Especially appreciate how you clarify “inherently—because they've HAD to to survive, and men largely haven’t”. This is often how I see it as well. Many so-called differences exist because they’ve been forced by circumstances.
@sara_ann_marie You’re right of course that culture critiques + sows doubt , and that there is an important difference between healthy reflection (what I was thinking on) and harmful, imposed self-doubt., that needs to be called out.
Self-doubt is a sign of competence. Reflecting on how the world is complex, and there is so much we don't know, means we are better suited to manage in a way that welcomes feedback on the impact of our actions. Embrace your doubt. It's helping you be better than the know-it-alls.
Whenever I write these thoughts I try to look at them as advice or learnings that I would forward to my much younger self. 😊
You are of course welcome to disagree with me.
This is something I think about when considering imposter syndrome and leadership skills. Women are often better leaders but express more self-doubt. This triggers intents to boost confidence. However: I believe doubt is what makes many better leaders. hbr-org.cdn.ampproject.org/c/s/hbr.org/am…
