Jag hörde ryktas att statsministern undrar om han bör tänka tvärtom.
Svaret är ja.
Finally decided on a name for my newsletter and set up a landing page for it.
It's still the same newsletter (or newsletters) I've always had, just with a name that resonates with me. :)

"Nu talar många om att någon slags kärnvapenbalans skulle ge oss säkerhet. De som tänker så vet inte vad kärnvapen är.
Som överlevare av det som kallats helvetet på jorden vet jag att vi måste avveckla kärnvapen helt. Så länge kärnvapen finns är ingen säker."

OPINION: ”När jag var 13 så försov jag mig en morgon. Det räddade mitt liv.”
We really need to stop calling everything AI. It's misleading at best, delusion-inducing at worst.
If you've all your digital stuff in English you may not know how often auto-translation forces people to do a double-take.
"State" in this context means what status the email is in (e.g. 'opened').
But "Delstat" in Swedish refers to a country state. Which makes this information appear very odd 😂

"We are asking permission because of GDPR."
No, you're asking permission because it's the decent, respectable thing to do.
Laws came into being because too many were busy being assholes.
If you say you're doing it because of GDPR you're saying you didn't really want to do the decent thing.

LinkedIn updated its policy regarding hateful and offensive content a few days ago. Specifically, they have removed wording that constituted a clear stance against harassment directed at trans people.

Watching #LongWayHome with Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman. I’ve watched them all and started with the #LongWayRound book back in the day.
Love seeing them in Scandinavia. Sold my motorbike last year but wow do I need to start planning for a trip like this in about 7 years time.
LinkedIn uppdaterade för några dagar sedan sin policy gällande hatiskt och kränkande innehåll. Specifikt har man tagit bort formuleringar som inneburit ett tydligt ställningstagande mot trakasserier riktade mot transpersoner.

Many more countries in favor of/ undecided with regards to #ChatControl than in 2024, even though the 2025 version is more far-reaching.
Take action: chatcontrol.eu

TLDR: If you’ve ever used the share function on a ChatGPT chat, that chat can be found via Google, viewable by anyone.
All these chats can be found via keywords.
Chats about mental health, abuse, confidential data… it’s all there.

If people are wildly optimistic and non-critical about deploying something that is destructive, I’m not sure that should be framed as a positive.
And continuing on this, if I am being critical of optimism in this scenario, that’s not ”slowing progress” or ”being backwards”.
This all reminds me of when people are understandably confused by ”negative” results in healthcare, when they can be the most welcome of news.
I doodled…

If you’re in Europe and want to use an alternative to LinkedIn, I’d suggest trying out Xing.
It’s a Hamburg-based service that has been around since 2003. It’s popular in Germany (of course) and from what I understand, also Spain.
