Bra poÀng. I grund och botten Àr de ju ett smart sÀtt att komma ihÄg saker Ät anvÀndare ("hej, alla varor i din varukorg ligger kvar"). Problemet blir först nÀr de anvÀnds för att komma ihÄg saker Ät företagen ("du la tydligen ett graviditetstest i din varukorg, jag delar det automatiskt med alla andra företag som vill sÀlja saker till dig").
SÄ det Àr svÄrt att vara 100 procent för eller emot tycker jag. Ganska vanligt det dÀr, att vi riktar misstron mot tekniken nÀr det egentligen Àr andra mÀnniskor som gör saker mot oss. De lyckas nog bara gömma sig vÀldigt bra bakom tekniken.
Ibland lĂ„ter det som att vi reglerar sjĂ€lva tekniken, men egentligen reglerar vi förstĂ„s vad mĂ€nniskor fĂ„r göra med tekniken. Vad bra du fick mig att tĂ€nka till. đ

NÀsta Är vill jag skriva en bok. Den ska handla om hur man som vanlig mÀnniska ska hantera all teknik man har omkring sig. Lösenord, sms, e-legitimation, digitala formulÀr, fotodelning, kakor, prenumerationer och allt annat du kommer att tÀnka pÄ i samband med det.
PÄ ett enkelt sprÄk sÄ att alla fÄr en chans att förstÄ och möjlighet ta tillbaka lite av den kontroll som tagits frÄn dem.

Most predictions are wrong, and certainly most of the ones quoted in the financial pages of prestigious newspapers.
So donât be afraid to make your own.
Here are mine for 2024:
â The definition of what AI is will continue to be an elusive, confusing muddle.
â Unrealistic promises of the technology will fail to materialise and trust will diminish.
â Thousands of AI startups will go belly-up.
â Musk will promise 100% full self-driving by 2025 (itâs an Earth tradition for him to push it one year every year).
â There will be more deaths by âself-driving carsâ.
â There will be advances in healthcare, transport, architecture, farming and robotics using machine learning, but this will have nothing to do with language models.
â A multitude of ongoing court cases will rule in favor of copyright holders, essentially placing a cease-and-desist on many language models.
â In a televised interview Sam Altman vill admit that while language models serve a purpose in writing reports and code faster, they are not the way forward for wicked problem-solving and autonomous intelligence.
â Research will show that school studentsâ capacity for creative problem solving has regressed with an increase in their use of language models..
I think most of âThe Big AI Crash of 2024â will start happening in June.

I do appreciate how having a hard-to-pronounce name (for English-speakers) has turned out to be a privacy benefit. đ
The dystopian world of an entirely AI-generated newsroom means that privileged men can continue to own and control everything but still give the appearance of diversity.
"News anchors" can be of all ages and backgrounds, and there can be 50% women presenting. The men in control can of course also give each woman exactly "the personality they want" and decide what they wear.
The men will definitely be applauded for their diversity efforts.
When I say in my talks that much of this forward motion is bringing us back in time, this is the type of "innovation" I am referring to.
