Every now and then I think about Uber's God View and how naive it is to think that most services with widespread consumer use don't have a surveillance God View.
What irks me the most: The potential power this gives over politicians. Never doubt that some people obviously still have this access.

I'm sure I'll never understand the US practice of public mugshots being used to ridicule, misrepresent and harass. So if someone is convicted of a crime it's apparently open season on doing as one pleases with their likeness. Consent no longer applies. It's a curious phenomenon and I'm sure someone must have written a dissertation about it…

Idag kan du börja förbereda din budröst inför valet den 13:e september!
Du som är äldre, sjuk, har en funktionsnedsättning eller är intagen på häkte eller kriminalvårdsanstalt kan rösta med bud om du inte kan ta dig till en vallokal.
Material för budröstning måste du beställa senast den 7:e september klockan 12.
OBS! Du kan också låta någon hämta material för budröstning på plats i en lokal för förtidsröstning, eller vallokal. De kan då också hämta valsedlar med förtryckta namn, om du hellre vill använda det.
Materialet för budröstning innehåller blanka valsedlar, tre kuvert för valsedlarna och ett ytterkuvert som alla dessa ska läggas i. Instruktioner följer också med.
Gör så här:
1. Förbered i avskildhet. Skriv det parti du vill rösta på i respektive val, på varje blank valsedel. Gul = riksdag, blå = region och vit = kommun. Om du vill kan du också skriva namnet på den person du vill personrösta på.
2. Lägg varje valsedel i varsitt kuvert.
3. Nu behöver du både ett bud och ett vittne som ser på när du lägger in dessa tre kuvert i ytterkuvertet.
4. På ytterkuvertet ska du fylla i dina uppgifter och skriva din namnteckning.
5. Sedan ska både vittnet och budet intyga att allt gått rätt till genom att också skriva sina namnteckningar på ytterkuvertet.
6. Nu kan budet ta ditt kuvert till en vallokal (eller lokal för förtidsröstning), visa sin id-handling och lämna in kuvertet med dina röster.
P.S. Om du inte kan rösta med bud finns möjligheten att kommunen skickar hem två personer till dig som tar emot din röst. Det kallas för "ambulerande röstmottagning". För att det ska ske måste du kontakta kommunen där du bor och be om det.
P.S. 2 Du kanske kan ta dig till vallokalen men inte in i den, även om alla vallokaler ska vara tillgängliga. Då kan röstmottagare ta emot din röst även utanför lokalen. Det är en del av att underlätta för alla!

A computer with built-in BASIC, a membrane keyboard and 1kB memory. I upgraded it to 16kB using an expansion slot.
I also had a thermal printer (7cm wide) and a cassette player for storing my programs.
