Using Signal Desktop, you can share a screen or separate window while on a call. You can share your screen if no one else is presenting. Your own video will not be shown while you are presenting.
To start or stop sharing while on a call, select the presenting icon with the box with an arrow pointing up.

The harmful effects of technology can be managed and mitigated. But not if we do not talk about them. Nor if we allow ourselves to be misled to focus on misleading narratives.
In the chart The Elements of AI Ethics I map out harms that we are already seeing reports of, that have been ongoing and many of which were predicted before they happened.
As a tool it can provide guidance and talking points for understanding how to prioritise your work with "smart" tools, and acknowledge that all teams that deploy or make use of AI need a mitigation strategy for many different types of harms.

@tsvenson Jag har inte följt honom tillräckligt länge för att veta hur han förändrats. Har mest sett hans fokus på alarmismen och sedan andras kritik mot Future of Life Institute.
Stories like this provide a clear and visual example of the bias that is embedded in generative AI tools. But we mustn't think bias is always this obvious.
These examples should be taken as a trigger to question most of the content produced by generative AI from the perspectives of who benefits and who is not even allowed in the room.
A lot of bias is not immediately self-evident until we start breaking down and analysing power structures.
