To find people on Bluesky you were following on Twitter, you can try the Follower Bridge plugin for Chrome.
1. Create app password for this plugin in Bluesky under Settings -> App passwords
2. Go to your following list on X
3. Activate the plugin (ALT+B) - use app password

Hur viktigt är det att vidmakthålla webblänkar i offentlig sektor? Rejält jäkla viktigt kan vi nog vara överens om. Ändå finns så oerhört många exempel på borttappade domäner och adresser till viktig information som man bara låter försvinna när man bygger om.
I mitt nyhetsbrev som skickades ut igår bygger jag vidare på Pierre Mesures viktiga insikter från Webperf-artikeln om svenska myndigheters tendens att överge domäner.

Myndigheter bygger fel, bygger nytt utan hänvisning och slänger bort sina digitala värdesaker – till oerhörd glädje för bedragare. Så jäkla jobbigt för polisen när den egna utvärderingen visar att åtgärderna de själva gillar inte funkar för att minska brottsligheten. Bäst att gömma undan den redan diarieförda rapporten.

Jag varnar ofta för QR-koder men ibland är det lättare att förstå allvaret om man tydligt får se hur det faktiskt kan se ut. Här ser du en film jag fått tillåtelse att använda i utbildningssyfte (med min röst pålagd). I filmen pillar en kvinna bort ett klistermärke på en skylt om parkeringsavgifter på Irland. Klistermärket är en QR-kod som passar perfekt ovanpå en giltig QR-kod som parkeringsbolaget uppmuntrat till att man använder.
Enligt utsago förlorade kvinnans dotter €1,000 efter att ha scannat koden, hamnat på en sida som ser legitim ut, och skrivit in sina kreditkortsuppgifter.
Seriösa aktörer bör inte använda sig av QR-koder på offentliga platser. Organisationen försätter sitt eget rykte på spel och riskerar säkerheten för de personer som uppmuntras till att scanna koden. Ibland är svindlarna inte ute efter pengar utan efter personuppgifter eller lösenord för att kunna gå vidare med andra typer av bedrägerier.
Falska QR-koder dyker också upp till exempel på kampanjer för att donera pengar, marknadsföringsmaterial om att få rabatter, och på förfalskade p-böter. Kriminella älskar förstås att även myndigheter och offentliga verksamheter uppmanar medborgare att scanna QR-koder utan att verifiera var man hamnar.
En kompis låter inte kompisar scanna QR-koder.

QR codes in public spaces are all at risk of being replaced and used by criminals to steal information and money.
They are also for example used on fake donation campaigns ("scan to send money") , fake marketing material ("scan for a coupon") and even fake parking tickets ("scan to pay your fee").

Attention and money is no longer amassed by people who make real, working things but by people who claim the absurd and illogical will soon happen.
This aligns with how Musk is celebrated for making an entrance in a remote-controlled car he claims is self-driving.

@steveportigal Wow this was so fun to read and made me think of how much manual creativity we've lost. The closest I came was all the school magazines I was involved in making in the early 90s.
As great as computers can be, we often end up using them for the "wrong" things, and they impose more boundaries than people tend to realise.
