The paradox of democracy is always that you can vote it away by allowing the most democracy-hostile actors to gain power. But perhaps more absurd: the most loyal defenders of democracy are the ones who will choose to allow that to happen.
It begs the question: How many votes for terrorists does it take for their behavior to be considered reasonable by a majority?

@Stellar Interesting. But yeah, in the end I'm not really interested in making accommodations wherein I have to spend time on workarounds for any and all devices I happen to be on when somebody sends me a link. Best not to engage, I feel.
People keep sending me Instagram links to their artwork and events. I can't see any of it without an account and logging in. I don't think a lot of people realise how much they lock in their content behind walls.

@evanstucker In Sweden the votes determine the number of seats a party gets in parliament (Sweden's Riksdag). So they don't determine a "winner" per se. The parties in parliament (Sweden currently has 8 parties in parliament) then amongst themselves determine (through negotiation and voting in the chamber) what party or constellation of parties constitute the government.
@evanstucker The nomenclature for this is Party-list proportional representation, which I think about 85 countries make use of.

Since the election of 2014 I've maintained a website about voting in Sweden's general election. I made it to provide an easily accessible English-language overview, hoping to encourage more people to vote.
Many people may hesitate to vote if they feel uncertain about the process or are afraid of making mistakes. With simple illustrations and short, clear instructions my intent is to help non-Swedish speaking voters feel more at ease.

A complete shot in the dark but I am looking for the 1.0 version software for the Myo armband, for Mac. This device (by Thalmic Labs) has been discontinued but with the software I could still use it. I just can't find the software.
The installer name was myoconnect.dmg - and yes, I've googled.

I 20 år nu har jag arbetat med digital tillgänglighet . Jag har föreläst, agerat bollplank, gjort granskningar och filmer för att öka förståelse och medvetenhet. Mycket har jag publicerat gratis.
Ett välanvänt referensverk har varit min kostnadsfria e-bok Digitill, som sammanfattar alla riktlinjer i vägledningen WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines). Det är den vägledning som ligger till grund för Lagen om tillgänglighet till digital offentlig service (DOS-lagen).
